Are you passionate about volunteering and the impact that it can have in a community? Would you like to work in a team focused on facilitating greater neighbourliness in Southmead?
If that’s you, this full-time role is to be part of an innovative project that will use a person-centred, holistic approach to supporting isolated people to get more of what they want out of life.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will recruit, train and manage volunteers in Southmead, helping to:
- Establish strong relationships with residents and linking them with volunteers
- Support local groups to be welcoming places for new members and help build capacity for other meaningful activities
We’re looking for someone with excellent people skills, who will work well within a team and enjoy the challenge of setting up a new project.
Contract: 2 year fixed term contract with possible extension.
